Oil Drip Pans - The Low Tech Solution For Oil Leaks and Minor Spills in Many Work Settings

Spills can happen almost anywhere. Fortunately, there is an easy solution out there that can contain and even prevent any damage that might result.

And that solution? Oil drip pans. They're ideal for catching drips and spills. And they won't need installation. Neither are they particularly bulky.

They can be deployed at a moment's notice, and their use is not restricted to industrial facilities either. In fact, they can be used for vehicles of all sorts, from an employee's car to a truck to a fork lift. Simply place them underneath the leaky object, and it will take care of the problem, to a point.

Of course, it needs to be monitored and replaced when it gets full. Plus it's important to keep an eye on the leak itself and fix it, at least eventually.

Oil drip pans are obligatory in places like car repair shops and industrial or manufacturing and repair facilities of various kinds. But there are many other places where they come in handy as well. For example, they can be used to keep drum storage areas nice and clean, which also makes them safer, of course.

Drip pans are generally made out of molded plastic. They're filled with ground cellulose, which absorbs the fluids, and they also have a porous cover to keep the cellulose in and foreign objects out.

And they can hold quite a bit of liquid -- up to a gallon's worth. This means that you won't have to replace them very often, which makes them also quite economical. But since they tend to come in multiples -- some companies packs them into boxes of 16 drip pans and sell them for a surprisingly reasonable price, i.e., less than per drip pan -- it is easy to have a supply of extras on hand for any eventualities.
